OUR MUDGEERABA ELECTORATE
The Mudgeeraba electorate encompasses Advancetown, Austinville, Bonogin, Carrara, Gilston, Lower Beechmont, Mudgeeraba, Natural Bridge, Nerang east, Nerang south, Numinbah Valley, Reedy Creek, Springbrook, Tallai, Worongary, and sections of Clagiraba and Merrimac.
The majority of the Mudgeeraba electorate falls within division 9 of the Gold Coast City Council with Carrara in division 8, Merrimac in division 11, and Reedy Creek as well as part of Bonogin in division 12.
The electorate is comprised of residential, rural, commercial zones and beautiful hinterland areas we refer to as the green behind the gold. Magnificent rainforests, streams, waterfalls, dams, spectacular flora and fauna and breathtaking vistas are reasons why many thousands of people from here, around Australia and abroad, visit our area every year!
